My responsibility as director is to manage information technology support for IFAS across four main areas:
- OIT Unit Administration
- Software Systems, for development and maintenance of programs and business software applications
- The Help Desk, which provides computer help and training to individuals throughout IFAS
- Server Administration and Networking, which builds and maintains the servers providing e-mail and Web hosting, and the computer networks that keep us connected
I coordinate with others in IFAS, the University of Florida, and county, state, and federal agencies to establish and maintain effective use of information technology in IFAS.
